The accreditation problem

Your campus does the green work.
NAAC never sees it.

Most institutions lose Criterion 7 marks not because they lack initiatives — but because the evidence lives in WhatsApp photos, forgotten registers and last-minute Excel sheets.

i.Evidence scattered everywhere

Plantation photos on personal phones, energy data in files, no geo-tagged proof. Peer teams want verifiable, dated documentation — not memories.

ii.Crisis-mode AQAR every December

IQAC teams reconstruct an entire year of activities in a few frantic weeks. Weak AQARs then make the cycle-end SSR a genuine crisis.

iii.IQAC on paper only

The committee exists in a file; meetings go undocumented; nothing is published on the website — a visible red flag under the new framework.

iv.The MBGL bar keeps rising

Since February 2025, NAAC's Binary + Maturity-Based Graded Levels reward continuous data discipline — not one-time paperwork sprints.

NEP 2020 alignment

Four NEP 2020 mandates, delivered green.

The National Education Policy 2020 demands environmental awareness, community connection and experiential learning. This is the most natural way to demonstrate all three.

Environmental education

NEP calls for climate literacy at every level. Tree tagging, live air dashboards and CO₂ tracking make it daily practice — not a textbook chapter.

Community engagement

Public tree profiles, plantation drives, adopt-a-tree programmes and local-society nominees on your IQAC connect campus to community — with documentation.

Experiential & multidisciplinary learning

Botany meets data science meets civic responsibility: students tag species, analyse air data and build verifiable green portfolios.

Institutional Development Plan

Green metrics — tree count, cover, air trend, participation — are the easiest IDP KPIs to measure honestly and improve visibly, feeding MBGL level evidence.

Getting started

Frequently asked questions.

Is Mission Green-Campus really free for institutions?

Yes. Institution registration, tree tagging, the air health dashboard, the IQAC suite and NAAC report generation are free. It's an initiative of One Library Per Village supported by CSR partnerships.

Does this replace our existing IQAC processes?

It digitises them. Your committee, meetings and documents move into one panel with member logins — and your public IQAC page (composition, minutes, AQARs) is auto-published for NAAC website compliance.

We're preparing for the new Binary + MBGL framework. Does this help?

Directly. The new framework rewards continuous, verifiable institutional data. The platform timestamps and geo-tags everything, so your evidence trail builds itself all year — exactly what MBGL level assessment looks for.

What do students get out of it?

Certified Green Ambassador status with verifiable portfolios, ID cards and LinkedIn-shareable certificates — plus hands-on experience in biodiversity, data and climate action.

How does the AQAR support work?

Your IQAC panel keeps a year-tagged AQAR/SSR repository with a live countdown to the 31 December deadline, and the criterion-tagged activity log means AQAR narrative data is already organised when you need it.

Our campus is small — is this still relevant?

Especially. Smaller institutions win disproportionately on Criterion 7 because green initiatives are visible and community-connected. Even 50 tagged trees with QR posters make a striking peer-team walkthrough.

Begin today

Your next NAAC cycle starts today
not next December.

Register free, set up your IQAC panel this week, and let your campus evidence build itself every single day.
